The mouthpiece of a PV goes into the end of the atomizer opposite the battery. It holds the liquid to be vaporized. Mouthpieces are made of hard plastic. Inside of the mouthpiece is a cup that holds the filling, the filling (which looks like polyester fiber fill) is what holds the liquid and acts as a wick.

It is important that the bridge in the atomizer touches the filling in the mouthpiece. The mouthpiece wicks the liquid up into the atomizer so the atomizer has something to vaporize. Never let your filling in your mouthpiece run dry, if it does run dry vapor production will drop off and a burnt taste may result in running your mouthpieces dry.
